Breakthrough Trek in Richmond
Surprising things take place with a break from the ordinary, so step outside with us in Richmond’s great outdoors. We’ll guide you and your team to a setting without inhibiting conventions that delights and encourages free, open, and honest conversation. As you walk in pairs and small groups along the Canal Walk, the lack of everyday distractions and stress will naturally unleash your creative brainstorming. We guide focused discussion around pre-determined topics, changing partners, moving on to new topics and reconvening as a group to take stock and reflect. Together you’ll discover and share new ideas, capturing and prioritizing them for more in-depth exploration at a later time. Away from the office in a new setting, teams become far more cohesive and strengthen their bonds. You can choose an easy stroll for your Breakthrough Trek or add a physical challenge with the more difficult trails in nearby Pocahontas State Park. Take your team away from it all to breathe some fresh air into your work.

Monroe Park serves as an excellent base camp to contribute to the Richmond community with our Buildin’ Bikes team building activity. Small teams compete in a series of challenges that test communication and problem-solving skills, and the resulting bikes are then donated to excited local boys and girls. Go deeper with this communication theme and improve your team’s effectiveness at sending and receiving messages during our Communication Skills workshop at a hotel like the historic Jefferson Hotel.
