Team Building in Wilmington, Delaware

Not just a popular tax haven, this “Corporate Capitol” provides an ideal location for team building and corporate training workshops. Conveniently located in between Washington, DC and New York City, Wilmington fuses big-city style with small-town charm with its beautiful revitalized waterfront and historic colonial sites.

Featured Program

Leap on a flying trapeze on our Wilmington Ropes Course

Among the rolling hills of the Brandywine Valley, we blend Low and High Ropes Course challenges like balancing your whole team across a swinging log, helping your teammates up a giant ladder, or belaying a partner as they climb a 15 foot pole and attempt our flying trapeze. Our challenging Wilmington ropes course enables participants to grow at both the team and individual levels by integrating leadership and communication concepts, problem-solving, and coaching.

The Low Ropes Course centers on communication with challenges, such as Log Jam, that calls on every member of the team to participate by providing support and ideas. The High Ropes Course emphasizes risk-taking, trust, and coaching. Take in the beautiful views of the surrounding forest as you balance across rope bridges or enjoy the shade while climbing a swinging ladder. The challenges allow participants to expand their comfort zones and recognize fears that may block personal growth and achievement. Each moment is rich with discoveries, whether a person is climbing, encouraging a team mate or “on belay.”

The Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park overlooking the Christina River makes a great base camp to contribute to the Wilmington community by Buildin’ Bikes. Small teams compete in a series of challenges that test communication and problem-solving skills, and the resulting bikes are then donated to excited local boys and girls. If your meeting involves professional development, incorporate our powerful Emissary Process as a way to provide interdepartmental feedback. Try meeting on the patio or indoor space at the Hilton Wilmington-Christiana or the Doubletree Hotel Downtown Wilmington.
